February Keeney is passionate about building inclusive workplaces and online communities. Presently, she is furthering these goals in her role as the Engineering Manager for the Community & Safety team at GitHub. As a transgender woman in tech, February has seen both sides of male privilege. She leverages her experiences and perspective to foster greater understanding of privilege and intersectionality. Left unattended at conferences she will find a piano and start covering pop b-sides. February lives in San Francisco Bay Area.
